Mendte has a youthful excitement and an agreeable nature underneath the wiseass remarks and Peter Pan syndrome. Easily swept up in the excitement and prey to nostalgia bait, Mendte loves most things. While there is a line that is often crossed, Mendte tends to be the positive one.

Why do you love comic books?
Comic books were a consistency for me growing up. I moved around a lot as a kid. New places, new friends, always the new kid... but I could find a new comic shop and pick up right where I left off with Spider-Man.

What’s the Best Comic book of all time?
While it's not my personal answer, I think the best comic of all time is the Dark Knight Returns. Batman was about to get canceled if you can believe it because the popularity of the 66 changed people's perception of Batman. DKR showed the world that comics, when done right, can be adult and serious. That and the night Gwen Stacy died gave us modern comics.

What comic character has the best rogues gallery?
The correct answer is Batman or Spider-Man (Debate amongst yourselves) but I would have to say Flash because of the camaraderie. They have respect for Barry and the Flash Family, and vice versa. Like Flash paying his respects after Heatwave and Weather Wizard died in Injustice, or how he treated Trickster in the Justice League Cartoon when he was having a mental break.
Who is the best Ninja Turtle?
Michelangelo. Hands down. Not only is he the one you would probably want to hang out with the most, but he was also the Last Ronin. The culmination of all the turtles' training and splinters lessons.

SUPERMAN OR BATMAN
Superman all day. Don't get me wrong, I love some Batman, but Clark is just built differently. Literally. He is whom you want to be, with powers and without. A good man.
MARVEL OR DC
Marvel for movies, DC for television, and the animated side of things. That comic flip-flop, but I would have to say, Marvel. They had a bigger impact on me growing up.
ESCAPISM OR REALISM
Escapism. I love comics that take on the status quo and hit closer to home, but most of the time I want to be taken to a new world, not reminded of how crappy this one can be.
