Another year has passed, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown me. This incredible journey wouldn’t be possible without your unwavering belief in me, so thank you from the bottom of my heart! Please take a moment to relax and indulge in my TOP TEN list, featuring the most remarkable figures I’ve enjoyed reviewing throughout the past year.
~Huey
#10 -Super Powers Superman
This new Superman from the McFarlane Super Powers line took me right back to being a kid, I was so happy that we have a Superman figure that looks and feels like the one I had back in the 80s.
#9 - TMNT Last Ronin Ralph
Ralph is my favorite Ninja Turtle so I was very excited to get this look for him in the Last Ronin line this year.
#8 - The New Adventures of Batman
I never got this figure the 1st time around when DC Collectibles released him. I was very happy I did get him because he is a good figure, the plastic is good on him and he looks just like he did in the show.
#7 - Adam West Batman '66
It's Adam West, do I need to say more?
#6 - Astonishing Wolverine
This is one of my favorite looks for Wolverine, and he needed an update from the old Toy Biz days.
#5 - TMNT Sketch Turtles
These turtles are fun and I am glad I got them but they were not as fun as some other Turtles we got this year for the 40th anniversary.
#4 - Blokees Thundercracker
Ok, I will admit I wasn't sure what to think about Blokees when they first came out, but wow putting this little guy together was a ton of fun and he is also fun to play with. He is now on my desk as my desk toy to play with.
#3 - Peter Laird Sketch Turtle
This is a fun little Turtle, NECA outdid themselves with this and the Kevin Turtle. I was upset that I couldn't get the ones in green but the black and white ones are just as good.
#2 - Keven Eastman Sketch Turtle
This is the real 1st Turtle, and i am so happy and excited to have him. NECA did such a great job on this and the Peter Turtle.
Honorable Mentions
A Silver Age Green Lantern is just what a lot of Fans have been asking for, so Thank you, McFarlane. I picked up this Optimus Prime just to see what the whole Super 7 thing was about. I wasn't that impressed with it though but I am glad to have another Optimus to add to my Transformers collection.
#1 - TMNT Remastered
I know these guys took a lot of heat this year for the little bumps all over the figures and yes while I don't love them it doesn't take away from the fun and play factor of these guys. These are 100% the TMNT figures I wish I had growing up.
Well, that wraps up another year of Toy Reviews, Thank you again.
