PACKAGING: Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.
These 3-inch Page Punchers come packed in a resealable clam shell. The comic book is displayed in the middle. The Page Punchers logo is listed at the bottom with Superman just off to the right. Turning the package to the side we get a good look at the side of the figure. This is great for any collector that wants to keep the figure and comic in the package. The back shows the back of the comic, The comic has the DC Universe logo with some other DC comics you can collect. Turning the package around one more time we can get a look at the other side of Superman.
OUTSIDE OF THE BOX: Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.
Taking Superman out of the package we can see that McFarlane has added a lot of detail to this tiny little figure. He really looks like a shrunk-down 7-inch figure. This figure also has a decent face sculpt for it being so small.
ACCESSORIES: Let's see what kind of accessories the figure comes with.
The only thing Superman comes with is a reprint of Superman DC Rebirth issue number 1.
ARTICULATION: How can we pose the figure? Let's find out!
SUPERMAN’S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
BALL JOINTED NECK - allows you to turn the head 360 degrees.
BALL-HINGED SHOULDERS - Gives the arm 360-degree rotation and also the ability to raise and lower the arm.
WAIST SWIVEL - This lets you be able to turn the figure around 360 degrees at the waist.
BALL JOINTED LEGS - With this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion.
SIZE COMPARISON: How does the size of this figure compare to others?
Superman stands right at 3 inches. Here is Superman standing next to the 7-inch McFarlane Rebirth Superman.
RATING:
What are Baby Huey's scores for the figure?
PAINT JOB 4.5/5 - I am shocked with how much paint detail they got on this little guy, if they could have just got the little red stripe around the boots it would have been perfect.
FIGURE SCULPT 5/5 - The sculpture looks amazing for the size of this figure.
POSING 5/5 - With this guy only being 3 inches I didn’t expect to be able to move him this much.
ACCESSORIES: 5/5 - It’s a comic book, how can you go wrong with that?
DURABILITY 4/5 - The plastic is a little soft but it isn’t too bad.
OVERALL SCORE 4.7/5 - $10 for a figure and a comic book, this is great for kids that want to get into comic books.
