For today’s review, we will be taking a look at the new Loki figure, based on his look from the Disney+ series. The Marvel Legends Series is a lower-tier toy line that both collectors and non-collectors alike would be interested in. This is an action figure line based on the characters of Marvel Comics, initially produced by Toy Biz, then by Hasbro. This line is in the 6-inch (150 mm) scale, with spin-off lines in the 4-inch (100 mm), 8-inch (200 mm), and 12-inch (300 mm) scale. these figures tend to look good inside and outside the box.
PACKAGING: Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.
Loki comes packed in the stranded Marvel Legends Series box. The top of the box has the Build-A-Figure logo, this wave is for The wings of Captain America, and the Legends Series logo is right below it. Loki is displayed in the middle through the large window that showcases the figure as well as the accessories. This gives great visibility to collectors that may not be opening it. Moving to the bottom of the box, you have The Falcon and the Winter Soldier logo as this is a part of the tv shows line. Right below the logo, we have the figure’s name. On the left side of the box, we get some artwork of Loki. On the back of the box, we have the same picture of Loki as well as a small bio. Below that we have a lineup of the rest of the figures you need to complete the wings for Captain America. Flipping the box to the right side now, you see we get the same artwork again.
OUTSIDE OF THE BOX: Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.
Taking Loki out of the box we can see that this figure uses the same suited body mold that Hasbro has been using for a few years now. aside from the paint, the only things new on the figure are the head sculpt and the body part of the jacket.
ACCESSORIES: Let's see what kind of accessories the figure comes with.
Loki comes with Captain America’s Backpack which is for the build-a-wing, Red Wing, and a flight stand.
ARTICULATION: How can we pose the figure? Let's find out!
LOKI’S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
HINGED JOINTED NECK - allows you to turn the head 360 degrees.
BALL-HINGED SHOULDERS - Gives the arm 360-degree rotation and also the ability to raise and lower the arm.
UPPER BICEP SWIVEL - This cut lets you turn the whole arm below the cut 360 degrees.
DOUBLE-JOINTED ELBOWS - This allows you to bend the arm past 90 degrees.
SWIVEL BALL HINGE WRISTS - It allows you to turn his wrists in a full 360-degree circle while also bending them up and down.
AB CRUNCH - This cut lets you be able to bend the figure front and back at the Abs.
WAIST SWIVEL - This lets you be able to turn the figure around 360 degrees at the waist.
BALL JOINTED LEGS - With this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion.
UPPER THIGH SWIVEL - The leg can rotate around a full 360 degrees.
DOUBLE-JOINTED KNEES - The joint allows you to bend the leg itself back to the butt of the figure.

SIZE COMPARISON: How does the size of this figure compare to others?
Loki Stands right around the 6.5-inch mark. Here is Loki standing next to his brother Thor.
RATING:
What are Baby Huey's scores for the figure?
PAINT JOB 4/5 - The paint on the figure isn’t bad. I do feel a wash over the body of the figure would have had some of the little details on the jacket and body pop a little more.
FIGURE SCULPT 4/5 - The sculpt is fine, we have seen this body used multiple times now over the years.
POSING 4/5 - Just about every poses you could want to get you can get.
ACCESSORIES: 1/5 - The only accessories Loki comes with are for the build-a-figure. He doesn’t come with anything for him. His little swords would have been awesome to come with.
DURABILITY 4/5 - The plastic is fine but I do worry about mold degradation since this body mold has been used so many times.
OVERALL SCORE 3.4/5 - While this Loki figure is something different it isn’t something that every collector needs however, if you want to complete Captain America’s wings you will need this pick him up.
