Today we will be taking a look at Green Ranger from Super 7’s ReAction line. Super 7’s ReAction figures celebrate the iconic 3¾ action figure of our childhood. The iconic size and sculpting style was simple while allowing our imagination to go all-in on our daily adventures. With ReAction Figures, we continue the classic size while making the figures we wished we had while growing up.
PACKAGING: Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.
The Green Ranger like the rest of the ReAction figures in this line comes on the standard blister card packaging. You have the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers logo at the top. Some nice artwork of the Green Ranger on the right side with the figure displayed on the left side in the blister bubble. Turning the packaging to the side we can see we get a nice look at the side of the figure as well as a look at one of his included accessories. Moving to the back we get a look at the rest of the figures In this first wave. The Megazord, Red Ranger, Rita, a Puddy, and Pudgy Pig (one of my personal favorite monsters). Taking a look at the other side we get a look at the Green Ranger from the left side as well as another one of his included accessories.
OUTSIDE OF THE BOX: Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.
Taking Green Ranger out of the box we can now take a look at all the details on the figure. The Helmet is very well done and looks great. The Gold on the figure is shiny and really pops on the figure.
ACCESSORIES: Let's see what kind of accessories the figure comes with.
Green Ranger comes with his Dragon Dagger and also the Sword of Darkness.
ARTICULATION: How can we pose the figure? Let's find out!
GREEN RANGER’S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
MUSHROOM PEGGED NECK - allows you to turn the head 360 degrees.
MUSHROOM PEGGED SHOULDERS - This gives the arm 360-degree rotation.
MUSHROOM PEGGED LEGS - This allows the legs to move back and forth.
SIZE COMPARISON: How does the size of this figure compare to others?
Green Ranger stands at 3.75 inches tall. Here is the Green Ranger standing next to the new Marvel Legends 3.75 in Spider-Man and the Green Ranger from the Lighting Collection.
RATING:
What are Baby Huey's scores for the figure?
PAINT JOB 4/5 - The paint on the figure is very well done, it is kinda hard to mess up the Mighty Morphin suits. however, just a little extra touch would have made this guy perfect with the pain, Painting in the coin on the Morpher buckle. It’s just a dab of gold paint.
FIGURE SCULPT 4/5 - The sculpt on this little guy is very well done. I would have just liked to see them add in the black holster for his dagger. It’s really the only thing missing from him.
POSING 2/5 - The only downside to this figure is that you can’t really do anything with him. Since the arms are just molded straight out he looks strange when you have him holding the weapons. At least with the Marvel figures, they added in a wrist rotation where they could.
ACCESSORIES: 5/5 - The Dager and The Sword of Darkness are really the only two things he could come with so no completes here.
DURABILITY 4/5 - The figure’s plastic is very strong. I do worry about the paint chipping over time because it doesn’t look or feel like it is painted on very well.
OVERALL SCORE 3.8/5 RETAIL COST: $17.99 I PICKED MINE UP FROM SUPER 7
TIME FOR SOME TOYING AROUND!!
