So another year has come and gone, It has been a very good year for Toys and Action Figures. I just want to thank you all for all the love and support you all give me, this would not be possible if not for all of you so thank you! So sit back and take a look at my TOP TEN from all the figures I reviewed this past year. Without a doubt, this was the hardest Top Ten list I’ve had to make yet. It took me a long time to figure out who made it, who didn’t, and in what order they went. I hope you enjoy, Cant wait to see you next year!
#10 - FUNKO POP! ICONS PATINA: STAN LEE
R.I.P. Stan The Man, need I say more?
#9 - DC COLLECTIBLES BATMAN VS. THE TMNT: BATMAN
Batman from the TMNT/Batman two-pack is a very well-put-together figure. I was pleasantly surprised by this figure the second I opened him up.
#8 - TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: SHADOW NINJAS RAPHAEL
So this is a figure I only reviewed a few weeks ago, I’ll be honest I didn’t think I was going to pick him up, but I am glad I did. He is a fun little figure, and I had a ton of fun moving and posing him around.
#7 - NECA TMNT TARGET TWO-PACK SHREDDER
This is the classic Shredder I’ve been waiting for my whole life. He is just perfect. NECA did a perfect job of making him look like he did back in the classic TMNT cartoon.
#6 - NECA TMNT TARGET TWO-PACK LEONARDO
Same as with the Shredder, This Leo, along with the rest of the Ninja Turtles in this line is just perfect and I am so happy to have him in my collection.
#5 - POWER RANGERS LIGHTING COLLECTION: LORD ZEDD
Hasbro took over the Power Rangers license this year, and while they were slow to get things out at first, they did not disappoint when they hit the shelves. just about every figure in this Lighting Collection line is a winner.
#4 - DC MULTIVERSE SHAZAM MOVIE: SHAZAM!
This was a surprising figure for me. Mattel with the DC figures is always eh, to say the least, but this Shazam figure looks good and has the perfect amount of articulation. Sorry that it was too little too late as McFarlane Toys is taking over in 2020.
#3 - FUNKO POP! COSMIC GHOST RIDER
Cosmic Ghost Rider just won 2019. He was a hit in the comic books and his Pop doesn’t disappoint as well. Everything about him is a win.
#2 - POWER RANGERS LIGHTING COLLECTION: LORD DRAKKON
Lord Drakkon was the big bad last year in the Power Ranger comics. Bandai came out with a figure of him but it was an SDCC-exclusive figure and I wasn’t able to get my hands on one. So this year when Hasbro took over they said Drakkons for all, They released him at mass retail so everyone could have a chance. I am so happy I got him. He is everything I wanted out of this figure.
HONORABLE MENTION
Big Time Spider-Man, Toy Box Genie, and TMNT/Batman Leo all are great figures. I just didn’t have enough sports for them all.
#1 - MARVEL LEGENDS: 80TH ANNIVERSARY IRON MAN
This past year was Marvel Comics’ 80th Anniversary. Hasbro decided they would go back and remake some classic figures and give them to us for this anniversary. This 80 years Iron Man is perfect. The gold pops, the articulation is spot on, and he comes with a nice amount of accessories and two alt. heads. He is hands down my favorite figure of 2019.
So That’s a wrap on 2019, Thank you all again for another awesome year of toy reviews. I will see you again in 2020! ~Baby Huey
